Who does the best? New manufactory building for IWC replica watches free shipping

IWC is currently building a new manufacturing facility in Merishausen in the Swiss canton of Schaffhausen. In the future, the case and movement parts production as well as the movement assembly of IWC manufacture calibers will be housed there - on a total of 13,500 square meters.

To date, these departments have been spread across different locations. With the merger, IWC would like to optimize important production processes and of course create space for growth. This is what many watch brands strive for: A. Lange & Söhne started work in a newly constructed manufacturing building in August 2015. Nomos Glashütte is currently building a new production hall in Schlottwitz, a district of Glashütte, which is to create more space for watch production on 1,000 square meters. Sinn Spezialuhren is also expanding significantly in the newly built company building in Frankfurt-Sossenheim in order to be able to increase the vertical range of manufacture in the future.

With costs of 42 million Swiss francs, the new IWC manufacturing building is the watch brand's largest investment to date. With the departments for case and movement parts production, which are currently still located in Neuhausen, the first IWC employees will start their work at the new location from October 2017. In January 2018, the factory assembly, which was previously located in Schaffhausen, is to follow. Customer service, final assembly and the specialties department will remain in Schaffhausen. IWC gives up the rented premises in Neuhausen after the move. In June 2018, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of IWC, the new manufacturing building is due to open. Then visitors to the “Gläserne Manufaktur” can also take a look behind the scenes of the brand belonging to the Richemont Group. mf

The headquarters of the International Watch Company are still located here today. But although IWC has been famous for decades for a wide range of high-precision Iwc 1960 replica watches that are suitable for extreme situations, the company's success was not in the cradle. IWC grew quickly to almost 200 employees in the early years, but the high import duties in the USA soon slowed business. Two bankruptcies and several changes at the top followed. At the beginning of the 20th century, the psychoanalyst Carl Gustav Jung was a co-owner. IWC lost its name, was called the watch factory of Ernst Homberger Rauschenbach for almost half a century, and was almost destroyed in an air raid during the Second World War. The fall of the dollar, the rise in the price of gold, the quartz crisis - things didn't get any easier after that. In 1978 the family business was sold, in 1991 Mannesmann took over. Today the watch manufacturer is in calm waters. Watches made by IWC are highly traded and valued all over the world. The Geneva Seal is a distinctive feature and, in addition to their origin, also indicates their quality. Large watch manufacturers have relocated their headquarters in order to be allowed to use the Geneva hallmark as a feature. Not so with IWC, which is still based in Schaffhausen today and is the only watch manufacturer here. Schaffhausen, only a few kilometers from the German border, is definitely a city with a long watchmaking tradition. A monastery clock was built here as early as 1409, and a document even dated from 1583 in which the existence of a watchmaker's guild is proven. Since the peripheral location in Eastern Switzerland does not make the search for qualified young people any easier, IWC has been relying on its own apprenticeship training for a long time.
