Thomas Fritsch, who was born in Dresden in 1944, was known as an actor from numerous films and series. For example, he played in the series "Derrick", "The Old One", "Happy Journey", "Der Bergdoktor" and "Hallo Robbie!". He was also featured in several novel adaptations by Rosamunde Pilcher (1924-2019). Fritsch also made a name for himself as a radio play and voice actor. From 2002 to 2017 he took on the role of the narrator in the popular radio play series "Die Drei ???".

In films he dubbed Russell Crowe (57), for example in "Gladiator" or "Signs of Life - Proof of Life", and Jeremy Irons (72), for example in "Die hard: Now even more". Fritsch also lent his voice to numerous Disney characters. He was heard as Scar in "The Lion King" and Niels in "Finding Nemo".
