How to tile a tower roof

Item content:

Step 1

Place the tracing paper on top of the table and trace the outer edge with the pen. This will give you the exact size of the table that you can use as a template so you can crop your tiles to the correct size.

step 2

Arrange the tiles on a level surface and make sure they touch on all sides. Lay out each tile within the boundaries of the template, leaving a half-inch gap between each piece of tile.

step 3

Place the template on the tiles and use the erasable marker to draw the template on the tiles.

Step 4

Use the wet saw to cut the outer tiles into a rounded shape along the line of the template.

Step 5

Use the trowel thinly over the Tabletop to brush.

Step 6

Lay the outer tiles along the edge of the table, with the curved side facing out, leaving about 1/2 inch of space between each tile. Continue laying the tiles along the top until it is complete.

Step 7

Let the thin set cure for 24 hours and shape it into the tiles.

Step 8

Apply the mortar. Place grout over the tiles and use the grout sponge to spread it over the tiles to slide between the spaces around the tiles.

Step 9

Moisten a soft cloth and wipe the grout off the top of the tiles.

Step 10

Let the grout harden for 48 hours and then paint a thin layer of sealer all over the table to prevent moisture from being absorbed. Wait another 24 hours before using the table.
