Items listed as "non-working," "for parts," or "as is" are not guaranteed or warranted and cannot be returned for a refund, credit, or exchange of any kind. We endeavor to fairly assess the condition of a non-working item and to honestly describe all symptoms. If there are other conditions, missing parts, or dead problems with the item that are not known in this type of listing, we will not be responsible for them.

WARRANTY DETAILS

Similar to any manufacturer's warranty, our one-year extended warranty on new items and 30-day warranty on used items provide coverage under normal operating conditions. It doesn't cover normal wear and tear. In particular, this does not apply to items that have been tampered with, changed, modified or damaged due to negligence on the part of the buyer. ie - improper voltage, unauthorized or self-repairing, moisture damage, failure to follow manufacturer's instructions or misapplication, etc.

Still not covered by our warranty. Force majeure, the old and new gods, forces of nature, items with serial numbers removed, microphone straps, speaker drivers, capsules, batteries, tubes, light bulbs, damage from use or abuse of voltage regulators, losses from loss of business, customers, downtime, or profits for personal inconvenience or expense related to travel, gasoline, etc., loss of theft, damage from UFOs or ghosts, damage or defects normally or otherwise covered by the manufacturer's active warranty or third-party service plan, use of the product Rental or use by non-owners, loss from damaged drives or data.

  • USPS and FedEx Ground are our standard choices for shipments in the continental US and Canada.
  • USPS is our standard method for all shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, US territories, and APO military addresses.
  • Techno Empire ships FREIGHT and can accommodate the boxes and palletizing of most items of any size. Please inquire for a special offer. Know that it takes extra time to prepare freight shipments.
  • Express or night delivery of articles is possible on request for an additional charge.
  • All shipments are insured for their sales amount.
  • A direct signature on packages is an option. If desired, please request delivery of the signature before dispatch. Packages lost due to theft are not the responsibility of Techno Empire Inc.
  • Upon receipt by the carrier, inspect all boxes prior to acceptance. The carrier must record damage to the box on a release form. Otherwise you can refuse acceptance.
  • Any items you receive that show external damage to the box or item, or missing parts or accessories, please report this to Techno Empire customer service immediately. Please keep all packaging materials, accessories, and merchandise labels for each item for which you would like to make a claim.
  • Techno Empire is not liable for denied insurance claims if any of the above conditions are not met.

INTERNATIONAL

  • All orders are processed within 1 working day after payment is received. In the unusual event that it takes longer, we will notify you by email.
  • USPS Priority is our standard method for most international shipments.
  • Express services are available for faster delivery at the buyer's expense. Please inquire before purchasing.
  • FedEx Express and DHL are available for international packages that exceed the USPS size limits for certain countries. Please inquire about prices if you cannot get a price from the calculator.
  • Import duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please check with your country`s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
  • We cannot mark items as "GIFTS" for international shipments. They are marked as "goods".
  • Insurance for the item is based on the declared value of the item. No insurance claims will be made beyond the stated value. Techno Empire is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged during international transit.

Techno Empire can ship ocean or air freight on very large and oversized items and handle the packaging and palletizing of most of the items we carry. Please inquire for a special offer. Know that it takes extra time to prepare freight shipments.

NEW ITEM RETURN POLICY

  • If you are not entirely satisfied with a new item you have purchased, you can return it within 30 days of receipt.
  • Restocking fees will apply for returning new items if the qualifications are not met (see Qualifications below).
  • New items found defective within 30 days of receipt may be returned for exchange, credit, or a full refund.
  • Techno Empire will not reimburse any customs duties, taxes, or other related fees or expenses for international returns.
  • Returns must be processed across multiple departments. Please understand that it may take 1-3 days for the refund to be completed after you receive the returned item.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR NEW ITEM RETURNS:

  • All new item returns must include everything that came with the original purchase and in new condition. This includes all packaging materials, accessories, manuals and related documentation.
  • Items returned with missing or damaged packaging or accessories will incur reasonable depreciation charges, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Any returned items that show signs of wear, damage, stains, or pet odor or smoke will be subject to reasonable depreciation charges, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • All new item returns must be given an RMA number from us before they can be accepted for return.
  • Returns must be repackaged with the same care with which you received them for safe return.
  • Returns must be insured for at least the full value of the goods. Refund fees will be applied for losses incurred due to inadequate insurance or repackaging.

TIPS TO AVOID RESTOCKING FEES FOR NEW ITEMS

When you receive an item, use a box cutter to open the package, being careful not to tear or throw away the box or any internal packaging.

Remember to keep your new device in its like-new condition until you are sure you will keep it without reining in your excitement for basking in the glow of your new piece of equipment.

For example, if it is a rack and pinion gear, we recommend avoiding the rack and pinion gear until you are sure it is a "holder". This prevents a possible "rack rash" or scratches. If it's a guitar pedal, avoid tying Velcro straps to it and attaching it to your pedal board until it passes your knight exam and sit at your round pedal table.

Though tempting to have your two favorite things together, soak the chicken wings in barbecue sauce dripping all over your leather vest and beard, and make sure your hands are clean and dry before hitting your awesome new gear try out.

Pet odors, cigarettes, and other smoking objects can also affect the "novelty" of your equipment. Plus, keep the gear away from your friend while Billy Ray Cyrus' mullet drives the Camaro. He's a good guy and he means well, but years of smoking tar and beer bongs have clouded his perception.

Following and applying these tips will help you avoid refill fees for returning new items!

  • Returning items damaged, altered or returned in any way under the conditions you received is the responsibility of the buyer. Devaluation of damage, repair costs or depreciation will be deducted from the refund in addition to the restocking fee.
  • For example, if you returned a guitar pedal or microphone because "it didn't work" but found that you simply plugged it in incorrectly.
  • Techno Empire will not reimburse any customs duties, taxes, or other related fees or expenses for international returns.
  • Returns must be processed across multiple departments. Please understand that it may take 1-3 days for the refund to be completed after you receive the returned item.

NON-RETURN ITEMS:

  • Items that have been tampered with, altered, modified or damaged by negligence on the part of the buyer, i.e. incorrect voltage, self-repairing, exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture damage or incorrect use, etc.
  • Headphones, microphones or other objects with intimate mouth, face or body contact.
  • Software, computer hardware, computer drives, and other digital or media tape.
  • Oversized or cargo items.
  • Articles that are special orders, discontinued articles or remaining items are excluded from exchange.
  • Items listed as "non-working," "for parts," or "as is" are not guaranteed or warranted and cannot be returned for a refund, credit, or exchange of any kind.

CANCELLATIONS

New and used items are subject to a 5% processing fee if canceled prior to delivery.
