Who set fire to fifty tones of gray

Series of arson : Vehicles set on fire in four Berlin districts

At about 1:40 a.m., a car sharing car burned in Finowstrasse (Neukölln), as the police reported on Sunday morning. A passerby discovered the fire and alerted the police and fire brigade. A vehicle parked next to it was also affected.

Around an hour later, at around 2:30 a.m., a witness saw suspicious people tampering with a trailer parked on Strasse des 17. Juni (Charlottenburg). After they escaped, the trailer caught fire.

Shortly after 3 a.m., a witness noticed a burning motorcycle that was parked on the sidewalk on Rykestrasse (Prenzlauer Berg). Investigations revealed that a bicycle and clothing were also burning in the vicinity at the same time.

Half an hour later, around 3:30 a.m., a passer-by noticed flames on a VW parked in Müller-Breslau-Strasse (Tiergarten). The fire also spread to an adjacent Ford and an e-scooter.

The investigators assume, according to the police, in all cases of arson. In all fires, fire fighters put out the flames. People weren't hurt. Fire commissions at the State Criminal Police Office carry out further investigations. (Tsp)
