What is meant by inclusion in sport?


The importance of sport is undisputed and also applies to people with disabilities for rehabilitation, meaningful leisure time activities and even competition. The aim is to provide equal access for all people for unhindered participation and participation in social life - and thus also in sport, both for active sport and for the spectators.

The inclusion of people with disabilities is based on:

  • The UN Disability Rights Convention is a convention on the rights of people with disabilities.
